The digital universe advances very quickly with the use of new technologies, applications, knowledge and services, which leads to a change in the behaviour of society and in communication between individuals, generating new consumer relationships and the need for new regulations.
Digital Law is the set of rules, applications, knowledge and practices that seek to guarantee the legal protection and validity of this universe. Brazil pioneered the creation of specific legislation on Internet relationships (Civil Rights Framework for the Internet), which regulates the control of identification, dividing this burden between connection and service providers, and establishes the principle of non-discrimination of traffic according to internet services. It advances today with the preparation of other equally relevant legal instruments, such as the future law on personal information, currently being processed by the National Congress.
We legally evaluate the performance of clients on the internet, by means of their websites, applications and social network profiles. Faced with the constant updating of this field of Law, our team constantly takes part in events, seminars, lectures and courses - as teachers, speakers or students - and closely follows the legislative process.
