Kasznar Leonardos coordinates large-scale Anti-Piracy raid in Paraná

The Antipiracy and Brand Protection team of Kasznar Leonardos strategically coordinated a large-scale search and seizure operation in eight factories located in the city of Apucarana, Paraná State. The initial estimate indicates that these factories were producing tens of thousands of counterfeit caps per week, which were subsequently shipped throughout Brazil, including the renowned commercial hub of Brás in São Paulo, for distribution by major wholesalers. The operation received operational support from the Public Prosecutor’s Office of Londrina, with assistance from the Special Group for Combating Organized Crime of Paraná State (Gaeco) and the 2nd Prosecutor’s Office of Apucarana. Additionally, 35 military police officers from the State of Paraná were involved in the operation.

As a result of this major raid, over R$ 3 million worth of counterfeit products were seized.

This strategic approach aims not only at immediate seizures but also at identifying the root causes of the problem and preventing the entry of counterfeit products into the market. Furthermore, it involves efforts to identify and hold accountable those involved in this scheme, contributing to a more effective fight against piracy and counterfeiting.
