Kasznar Leonardos takes part in important anti-piracy raids around Brazil

In the last few weeks, Kasznar Leonardos’ Antipiracy & Brand Protection team took part in significant raids against counterfeiters, providing support to the Brazilian authorities. These actions resulted in the seizure of over R$ 6.5 million worth of counterfeit products.

We participated in Operation “Primeira Linha”, conducted by the Brazilian Federal Revenue Service, in the city of Natal, state of Rio Grande do Norte. It resulted in the seizure of approximately R$ 1.5 million in counterfeit merchandise.

Also, we took part in a Operation conducted by the Specialized Police Unit for Combating Intellectual Property Crimes in São Paulo, that resulted in the seizure of over 5,000 counterfeit caps and jerseys after a thorough investigation into four targets identified by our team.

At last, we acted in “Operation Zero Um”, conducted by the Brazilian Federal Revenue Service in São Paulo. It removed over R$ 4 million worth of counterfeit products from the market, dismantling an online hub for pirate product sales.
