Kasznar Leonardos takes part in massive operation against piracy

The Antipiracy & Brand Protection team of Kasznar Leonardos participated in a massive operation carried out by the Federal Revenue Service, at Feiraguay, an important center of popular commerce located in the city of Feira de Santana, Bahia State.

The operation began in the early morning of May 9th and resulted in the inspection of 200 stores, ending up with the seizure of approximately 30 tons of illegal products.

According to our attorney at law and coordinator of the area at our firm, Raquel Corrêa Barros, the withdrawal of counterfeit products from the market directly attacks criminal organizations, ensures the safety of consumers, educates the market, and reduces the IP owners’ losses.
