Kasznar Leonardos will be represented at APAA 2024

Maria Pia Guerra is a partner and attorney at law at Kasznar Leonardos, as well as Executive Manager of IB THE IP HUB (IB), Kasznar Leonardos’ Latin Hub. Her journey in Intellectual Property began at a renowned Law firm in Brazil, which later led her to Geneva in the early 2000s, where she joined the World Intellectual Property Organization – WIPO. At WIPO, she served as a legal consultant, delivering lectures and courses on the Madrid and Hague Systems for the International Registration of Trademarks and Industrial Designs. To further enhance her skills, Maria Pia completed a Master’s in European and International Commercial Law at the University of Leicester in the United Kingdom. Upon her return to Brazil, she launched the Brazilian branch of a well-known European firm, assuming management of all intellectual property portfolios for clients in the country. Maria Pia’s arrival at Kasznar Leonardos has strengthened the Brazilian office as a key reference point in Intellectual Property for countries in Latin America and the Caribbean. Her expertise provides both a solid and innovative option for the region.
