Protecting Plant Varieties in Brazil for FloraCulture Magazine
Our partner and head of Life Sciences, Priscila Kashiwabara discusses plant variety protection in Brazil and its recent developments regarding legal framework for Plant Variety Protection (PVP), in an article published in FloraCulture International Magazine.
Besides addressing commercial reproduction rights in Brazilian territory, she has also brought up details about procedure and possible sanctions for rights’ infringers of a protected plant variety, emphasizing flower and ornamental plant business’ growth and organization, as well as its increase in revenue in the region.
