Kasznar Leonardos takes part in “Operação Surpresa 2” in São Paulo

After intelligence work performed by Kasznar Leonardos’ Anti-Piracy and Brand Protection team, the Brazilian Federal Revenue Service launched “Operação Surpresa 2” on July 4th. The operation targeted two major distributors and wholesalers of caps in the Brás region of São Paulo, a hub known for its bustling popular commerce that supplies the national market and attracts buyers from all regions of Brazil and neighboring countries.

With 14 Federal Revenue Service agents and a support staff of 50 helpers, the operation resulted in the seizure of at least R$3 million in counterfeit products.
