Kasznar Leonardos’ Anti-Piracy Team participates in major raid “Operation Sombreiro” in Fortaleza

The Anti-Piracy and Brand Protection team of Kasznar Leonardos played a strategic role in the massive raid conducted by the Brazilian Federal Revenue Service in the city of Fortaleza, named Operação Sombreiro.

The operation was organized based on intelligence work carried out by the Kasznar Leonardos team, which identified 8 targets selling counterfeit products of our clients. Additionally, another 8 targets were included by the authority based on reports from other brand owners. The operation involved 40 Federal Revenue agents, 16 police officers, and 5 INMETRO inspection agents and were seized R$8 million in counterfeit goods.
