Kasznar Leonardos takes part in operation against piracy

On September 21st, Kasznar Leonardos’ Antipiracy and Brand Protection team participated in a significant raid launched by the Brazilian Internal Revenue Service, with the support of the Federal Highway Police, targeting the illegal market in the city of Duque de Caxias (outskirts of Rio), in a popular mall, famous for selling counterfeit goods.

The operation involved a force of 70 Federal Revenue officers and 22 Federal Highway Police agents, in addition to representatives of the infringed brands. Following inspections at more than 20 establishments, a total of 25 tons of illicit products were seized, equivalent to a value of R$11 million in counterfeit goods.
