Marisa Momoli stands out in ABAPI’s patent course

Our biologist Marisa Momoli taught the advanced patent course at ABAPI on July 8th.

The lecture, entitled “Plant Varieties and Patents, definitions, and clarity on legal and technical aspects”, addressed the distinctions between patent protection and plant varieties, regulated by different norms, in order to clarify the scope and limitations of each type of law.

The meeting, conducted with the president of the Community Plant Variety Office (CPVO), Francesco Mattina, provided participants with a deep and enlightening understanding of the technical and legal aspects involved.
