Meet our new partner: Viviane Trojan!
Viviane Trojan, with her vast experience in employing keen strategy and legal intelligence in patent law, is a welcome addition to the Kasznar Leonardos team of partners. With her knowledge and technical expertise, Viviane will play a key role in the firm’s unfaltering commitment to proactivity providing first-class strategic advice to clients.
As Partner and Chairman Gabriel Leonardos explains, expanding our team of partners reflects our culture of innovation – the driving force behind our embrace of the internal flexibility needed to consistently offer new solutions to our clients. In the traditionally male-dominated world of law firm partners, Viviane’s promotion reaffirms our commitment to pursuing a culture of opportunities. “We wish to create spaces to develop new talents and continue promoting women’s potential and leadership so as to give new meaning to the history of law and intellectual property in Brazil and the world,” said Gabriel.
For Viviane, this promotion also represents an opportunity to help train a new generation of lawyers who understand that practicing law is far more effective with a common goal and collaborative mindset. “My hope,” the new partner explains, “is to actively and increasingly contribute to the country’s technological, economic and social development. We cannot resign ourselves to a Brazil of creative and innovative minds being undervalued on the global innovation stage for much longer. We play an important role in encouraging proper protection of intellectual property rights and fostering an ecosystem of greater legal security and efficiency.”
Meet Viviane Trojan
Viviane Trojan returned to Kasznar Leonardos in 2021 after 10 years of practice in strategic litigation with a focus on patents. She is currently one of the heads of strategic litigation, managing Kasznar Leonardos’ intelligence practice and actively contributing to developing the firm’s other strategic areas. She received her undergraduate degree in law from Universidade Federal Fluminense (UFF), completed a specialization in civil procedure at Pontifícia Universidade Católica (PUC/RJ) and earned her LL.M. in law and technology from the University of California, Berkeley.
