You can’t spell Olympics without IP

Our partner Fernanda Magalhães was invited by the American radio NPR to participate in the podcast “The Indicator” from Planet Money. She discussed ambush marketing at the Olympic Games and her previous experience as the Chief of the Intellectual Property Council for the 2016 Rio Olympic and Paralympic Games.

As it is often an unknown violation, Fernanda emphasized friendly approaches with unintentional offenders, while also highlighting the importance of the International Olympic Committee (IOC) and sponsor companies protecting their brand assets.
